  1.   This directory contains the source code for the "make" program on the 
  2. NorthC disk.  I have included this code both as an example program and so 
  3. that you can change how the "make" program works.

  5.   There are a number of improvements that can be made to this program, the 
  6. most obvious one is to add in variables.  I have not done too much work on 
  7. this program because I keep thinking that I will port a version of make 
  8. from somewhere else.

  10.   As with all the programs on this disk the best way to recompile them is to 
  11. use the command "make" in the directory, all the rest is done for you.

  13.   If you manage to improve the program send me a copy and tell me if I can 
  14. include it on future releases of NorthC.
